The UNIFILL TF-400 is a new generation machine suitable for the production of a new concept of Unifill-type multiple-use container that has been named QwikPak TM. The QwikPak TM is a new “ultra-cool” spouted container that can have volumes ranging from 80 up to 500ml and that can produced on the TF-400 machine at a speed that can reach up to 200 units/minute. The most innovative element of the QwikPak TM is that it can be made using very thin materials (such as 200 microns) up to very thick ones like 600 microns, thus actually combining all the advantages of the pouches (the flexibility) with those of the blown bottles (the three-dimensional shape). Another great advantage of the TF-400 machine producing rigid containers is the extremely simple operations offered by this FF&S machine compared to the filling of blown bottles where the customer needs to transport, stock, de-palletise, unscramble and rinse the bottles prior to filling operations. Starting from reels of flat plastic film, the TF-400 is a machine that can be switched on and off whenever this is needed. Thanks to it’s modular concept, it is possible to set-up the TF-400 to either produce finished filled & capped containers or empty spouted containers ready to be filled and capped on conventional lines.
